Dr. Colton Barrett is originally from a small town in southeast Arkansas (Woo Pig!). His introduction to veterinary medicine came when working for a small animal clinic while earning his undergraduate degree at Arkansas Tech University. It was there that he appreciated the impact of the human-animal bond during all stages of a pet’s life.
Colton went on to pursue a degree in veterinary medicine at the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine. He enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine but has a special interest in surgery, internal medicine, and preventative medicine.
Colton and his fiancée made the move from Arkansas to Washington to embark on new adventures in life and explore the abundant outdoor recreations the PNW offers. They share their home with 2 dogs, a fish, and a frog. Outside the clinic, he enjoys backpacking, camping, and playing the piano.
