Dr. Chelsie Hollan
Dr. Chelsie Hollan is a small animal veterinarian recently hired at Northpointe Animal Hospital. She has been practicing medicine since 2007 when she graduated from Washington State University Veterinary College with honors. She pursued equine medicine with a 1 year internship at Pilchuck Veterinary Hospital, and went on to practice with horses for another 5 years. With a change in her personal life, Dr. Hollan switched from horses to small animals (mostly dogs and cats) in 2013. Although she initially missed being outside and around horses, she has always loved working with dogs/cats and their humans. Building trust and relationships with patients and clients is what she loves most about veterinary medicine. She has a passion for anesthesia and surgery, along with always learning more about this amazing career and practice. Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Hollan has a young family made up of her husband and two daughters. She is passionate about being outside hiking or lounging by a water source. Her love of horses is still strong, although she currently is horseless. She is originally from Las Vegas, NV, and her desert rat inner self craves the sun consistently. As for pets, Dr. Hollan has 2 dogs and 3 cats that she adores. Arrow, 3 year old Australian Cattle Dog (pictured in her bio), is her main sidekick for hiking adventures. She is looking forward to her new position at Northpointe.
